Bridge to MSN Program

Nurses RN to MSN programMany registered nurses already have a baccalaureate degree in a non-nursing major and are understandably reluctant to take redundant classes in order to gain another baccalaureate degree in nursing. Our 12 week bridge program--delivered entirely online--therefore offers nurses in this situation access to the College's wide range of master's degrees.

About the courses
The program consists of two 3-credit courses--Complex Care I and Complex Care II--which are designed to prepare students for the rigor of a master's level nursing program.

Admission requirements

Applicants will be asked to complete (or provide evidence of previous completion) or the following pre-requisite courses:

Application process
Applicants should contact the College of Nursing to obtain an application pack by calling (973) 761-9306 or e-mailing nursing@shu.edu.
